Weekly Themes & Dates

Each week brings a fresh theme packed with hands-on experiments, creative activities, and exciting discoveries! From exploring ancient dinosaurs to launching rockets, each theme is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in a fun and interactive way.

May Holiday (28 April – 2 May): Dino Detectives (Paleontology Week, Bilingual Camp)
Embark on an exciting adventure through time as we dig deep into the world of dinosaurs. Your child will uncover fossils, learn about the prehistoric world, and create dino-themed crafts. This week is a thrilling journey for young paleontologists!
Summer Holiday:
- 28 July – 1 August: Dino Detectives (Paleontology Week, English-Only Camp)
  A week full of fossil hunting, dinosaur facts, and exploring the creatures of the past. We’ll dive into paleontology through interactive activities, from excavation to dino artwork and storytelling.
- 4 – 8 August: Fizz, Bang, Pop! (Chemistry Week, Bilingual Camp)
  Get ready for explosive fun! This week, we’ll experiment with chemical reactions, create fizzy potions, and explore the wonders of science. Each experiment is designed to amaze and inspire young scientists!
- 11 – 15 August: To Infinity & Beyond (Space Week, Bilingual Camp)
  Blast off into space and discover the mysteries of the universe! From learning about planets and stars to building rockets and star viewers, this week is a cosmic journey filled with hands-on activities that are out of this world!
- 18 – 22 August: Inside Out! (Human Body Week, Bilingual Camp)
  Take a journey inside the human body and learn about how our organs, muscles, and bones work. We’ll conduct experiments to understand how our body functions, explore senses through sensory play, and create body-themed arts and crafts!
- 25 – 29 August: Build It! (Engineering Week, Bilingual Camp)
  Time to get hands-on and design, build, and test creations! From bridges and towers to simple machines, your child will explore engineering principles through fun building challenges and hands-on projects that encourage teamwork and problem-solving.

10:00: Snack time, circle time, getting to know each other

About us

Hi! I'm Lena, the face behind Mini Professors Den Haag and Smart Start Kids. I'm passionate about bringing the magic of science to young minds. My 5.5-year-old son, a true science enthusiast, is my greatest inspiration. I noticed a gap in exciting, hands-on activities for kids his age, and I knew I had to create something special.

Because science isn't just about learning; it's about igniting curiosity, fostering a love for discovery, and developing logical and critical thinking skills.

I also founded Messy Mates Club, where we explore the fascinating world of sensory play.

These camps are the perfect blend of science and sensory exploration, designed to create unforgettable experiences.
